Darshan is a co-founder director at Acumen and specializes in M&A and valuation advisory. He plays a key role in developing and managing the firm’s relationships with various players in the investor-entrepreneur ecosystem. He has a passion for numbers and a keen interest in entrepreneurship.

Following in his father’s footsteps, he began his career as a Chartered Accountant. He holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Pune and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, both of which were accorded with distinction. Darshan is also an alumni of XLRI Jamshedpur, where he did his MBA in Finance and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, USA. He was honored with the O P Jindal Management Scholarship at XLRI Jamshedpur. Darshan is also a Registered Valuer registered with IBBI for Asset Class “Securities or Financial Assets”.

Darshan is a Charter Member and Governing Council Member at the Pune Chapter of The IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE). He also co-heads the Women Initiative at TiE Pune. Darshan is also a member of Rotary Club of Pune Central. He also led the Young Indians Chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII-Yi) while at XLRI.

Darshan had earlier garnered diverse experience during his stints at Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Darshan regularly speaks at various forums, is an avid traveler, marathoner, and also an active angel investor in Indian as well as overseas startups.
